Servicing
Servicing is what stops small things becoming expensive things. We work to the manufacturer schedule with genuine parts, we stamp your book, and being independent rather than a main dealer does not affect your warranty.
Straight answers. If yours is not here, give us a ring.
The usual guidance is an interim service every 6,000 miles or six months, and a full service every 12,000 miles or twelve months, whichever comes first. Check your handbook, because manufacturers differ, and stop-start city driving in East London is harder on a car than motorway miles.
An interim service covers oil, filter, fluids and the safety-critical checks. A full service adds the air filter, spark plugs, cabin filter, fuel filter and the fluid changes. If you are unsure which yours is due, ring us with the registration and mileage.
It depends on the car and on whether it is an interim or a full service, so we quote per vehicle rather than publishing a single number that would be wrong for most people. Ring us with the make, model and mileage and we will price it before you commit.
No. A manufacturer cannot void your warranty because an independent garage did the servicing, as long as it is done to the correct schedule with parts of matching quality. We stamp your service book.
Small faults become large ones. Old oil stops protecting the engine, worn brakes damage discs, and a missed cambelt can destroy an engine entirely. It also hurts resale value, because a gap in the service history is the first thing a buyer looks for.
